Welcome to the Foundation Course on Urologic Diseases.
The urinary tract is your body’s drainage system for removing urine. Urine is composed of wastes and water. The urinary tract includes your kidneys, ureters, and bladder. To urinate normally, the urinary tract needs to work together in the correct order.
Urologic diseases or conditions include urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder control problems, and prostate problems, among others. Some urologic conditions last only a short time, while others are long-lasting. This self-paced course will also walk you through some basic concepts on Symptoms, Tests and Procedures relating to Urologic Diseases.
This self-study course will help you get basic understanding of common and chronic Urologic Disorders and expand your competence and confidence in diagnosing and treating conditions such as Kidney Stones, Diet for Kidney Stone Prevention, Bladder Infection (UTI) in Adults, Urinary Retention, Bladder Control Problems (Urinary Incontinence), Hematuria (Blood in the Urine), and Interstitial Cystitis (Painful Bladder Syndrome).
